We met eight years ago, fell in love, and have been the best of friends ever since. Our relationship is strong; it is built on respect, trust, honesty, and commitment. We feel extremely lucky to have each other and don't take a moment from granted. Raising a child has always been a dream of ours. With the amazing support of our family and friends, our child will thrive in an environment filled with laughter, music, and love. We share a passion for traveling, especially to California, New York, and foreign countries. We look forward to reading books at night and singing our baby to sleep. We promise to protect, nurture, and love our child. We will teach the importance of treating others with kindness and compassion. Our son or daughter will always know the love and unselfishness you have in your heart.
We are both well established in our careers as public school teachers. Joe teaches math to high school students and Shawn is an elementary school teacher. We love getting to know our students and helping each of them achieve their greatest potential. As teachers, we have a lot of time off to spend with our child, traveling the world and having fun together on breaks from school (we both have summers off!). We value education greatly and have both completed our Master's degrees in Education.
We love to go camping in the nearby Rocky Mountains.
