Hello, and thanks for visiting our page. We're Joe and Shawn from Denver, Colorado. We respect that you are considering adoption and hope we can be there for you. Life as a couple over the past nine years has been good to us. We're lucky to live in a large, diverse city with plenty to do and are also very close to the Rocky Mountains. We have fun going to concerts, camping, and attending Denver's many outdoor cultural events. Our jobs as teachers allow us to spend our many breaks from school together. Having visited many foreign countries, we look forward to sharing such travel experiences with our child. We can't wait to become parents to have this time as a family. We will do everything we possibly can to make sure that the baby we adopt has many opportunities and a great life. Both of us are well established in our careers as public school teachers. Shawn teaches reading and writing as an elementary school teacher and teaches Irish dance on the side. Joe is a high school math teacher and works with a program to help first generation students get into college. Between the two of us, we have worked with kids of every age from kindergarten through senior year which will help us be prepared as our baby grows up. Teaching is a great profession for both of us because it is very rewarding and we love to be with kids. We value education greatly and have both completed our Master’s degrees in Education.


 

We love to go camping in the nearby Rocky Mountains.
